At a Brussels Report event on July 14, jointly hosted with the Tholos Foundation, the US Ambassador to the European Union, Andrew Puzder, praised the transatlantic relationship while defending the recently negotiated US-EU trade agreement and warning that the EU’s biggest economic challenges are largely self-inflicted. He noted that scrapping EU non-tarriff barriers would not only benefit US businesses but also Europeans.
